In this class we’ll be exploring Grounding as a movement resource.
Practicing grounding helps us to connect with our substance, and to feel supported through our connection with the Earth beneath us. Developing our ability to stay grounded can help settle us physically, emotionally and mentally when something tries to knock us off our feet. It can also help nurture a sense of a stable platform from which we can let go or engage solidly with the world around us.
Open Floor is a conscious dance and movement practice for personal development suitable for adults of all ages and abilities.
